Straw marquetry is a rare decorative craft that transforms humble rye straw into a surface of natural luminosity. The straw used in these marquetry pieces is grown in Torrijos, Spain, by award-winning Rubén Fabuel, then harvested, cleaned, dyed and prepared by hand before being laid onto wood and finished with natural beeswax.
