The Azul Marquetry Drinks Cabinet is a bold hand-crafted statement piece designed for interiors that need colour, depth and presence.

Its vivid blue straw-marquetry surface creates a striking geometric rhythm, catching the light differently from every angle. Ideal for luxury residences, boutique hotels, private bars and boutique hospitality spaces, it brings artisan craftsmanship into the room as both functional storage and sculptural design.

This jewel of pure artisanal mastery is the work of Ruben Fabuel, a master artisan from Spain. This cabinet was displayed at CasaDecorMadrid 2026.

It is covered with marquetry on all sides, including the leg structure. The interior is lacquered, and the doors have a push-to-open system. The price includes the base.

Straw marquetry is a centuries-old artisanal technique, valued for its natural lustre, precision and delicacy. With thoughtful care, each piece can retain its beauty for many years.

As straw is an organic material, it should be protected from humidity, direct heat and excessive handling. Dust gently with a soft, lint-free cloth and avoid abrasive sprays or chemical cleaners. Each piece is finished with beeswax for protection.

To maintain the surface over time, apply a few drops of mineral oil or petroleum jelly to a lint-free cloth and wipe gently across the marquetry. Avoid the edges, as excess moisture or oil may lift the straw fibres.

Do not place heavy, rough or textured objects directly onto the marquetry surface.
